Briar Vold

Briar was raised in a military family and moved frequently, but spent the majority of her childhood in Wichita Falls, Texas. It was there, at the age of six, that she began studying ballet under the guidance of Pati and Gari Bohem, later continuing her training with Mishic and Valentine Liberatore. Over the years, she attended summer intensives with Texas Ballet Theatre, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and Oklahoma City Ballet.

In 2021, Briar joined the Oklahoma City Ballet Yvonne Chouteau School, where she spent two years in the Post Graduate program. She went on to become a Trainee with the Sacramento Ballet School in 2023.

Performance highlights include dancing the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Dewdrop in The Nutcracker, as well as the title role in Cinderella at her home studio. Her professional repertoire features corps spots in beloved classical works, including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and La Sylphide, among others.

Beyond performing, Briar has also choreographed, rehearsed, and stage-managed productions. She is thrilled to continue her artistic journey with Coastal Ballet of Florida!
